I put up some pictures of the new Mokobbleme claim. Hard digging but tons of bedrock. I didn't find enough color to actually save but what a beautiful place!!! I had a great time as always. :)

Robyn, I'm sure it will come up for a vote at the next meeting and I'd be willing to bet, after Gary posts his pics, that it will win. From my standpoint it has my vote. I'd bring stuff for moving and breaking rock. A highbanker or power sluice might be in order since there is limited area for sluice set up.

I was having issues viewing pictures from my phone, tablet, and work computer.  I don't think it is only you.   What fixed viewing in my case was clicking "View as Slideshow" link within the photo album and I was able to see the pictures without a problem.

Can we bring a highbanker to the new Mokelumne claim (by the way thats the right way to spell it!) ?

Greg, Highbankers are ok and the name of the claim is Mokobbleme. Actually, the claim has limited sluice space so a powered system would be better. I won't go back without a stand for my sluice. There are places where the flow is fast enough but too deep.

Great  Steve thanks I went Sunday, and had the same thing happen with my sluice setting up! Oh we'll, nice spot though. My bad on the name, I guess I thought the claim was named after the river!!

Gary, when I go to the photo gallery I see your file with 25 photos from Mokobbleme. I wish we were over on the new site because I've been experienceing problems with loading delays and time outs.
