I am thinking about buying a trommel like this for my claim on the Bear River. If you have one, please let me know. :)

I came across this on one of my auction websites, and just had to post it. NO WAY could I afford one! This sold for $60,000!

That is a monster, for sure. I noticed there is a more suitable one on Craigslist, although it seems a bit pricey.

wouldn,t that be awsome.wow! you would have a hard time getting it down there.lol but a smaller one would be more practical.with the amount of material you would have to go through.to get enouph gold to make it worth it.

Calif. Sluice Box has 10, 12 and 14 inch gas powered trommels and a 10 inch hand cranked trommel classifier. I visited their shop a couple of weeks ago and purchased a sluice box, looking forward to trying it out soon. I had a long conversation with Dale the owner and he seems to be a pretty good guy. He had a lot of good things to say about this club. I saw a few of the trommels in various stages of completion and they seem to be built pretty well. They were on wheels so it looks like if you can get a wheelbarrow in you can get one of these in. I know its not as big as the one in your post but then it wont cost as much either. :D
