About Me
Been Metal detecting for about 30 years..My first find I was in a school yard sand box with an old Whites detector "Rigged Up" to work, within 10 minutes I had pulled up a ladies ring with a HUGE diamond

Eric, Thank you! I really don't know anyone in the area and it sure is nice that someone reached out. Keep the shiny side up, alright!
Hi Eric, thanks for welcome!
I would like to do some prospecting and detecting in the old mining areas. Have some time in late Sept. May visit Italian Bar and area. May see you there.
Thanks Eric,
The wife and I plan to be at I-bar October 5-9 and hope to see you there. I'll be the one with the big green/silver Dodge Ram 2500 with Nevada plates "COPPERS." Hope to see you there!
Thanks for the welcome Eric. I'll be at I Bar and hope to meet you there!
Hi Eric
Thanks for welcoming me to the club. Took up detecting 2 years ago and It's now my favorite hobby. Maybe you can give me a few pointers some time. Regards Terry
Eric,
Saw your last post on the club claim forum, it got closed before I could send you answers. Anyway, there's plenty of room by the side of the road, Caribou Road, to have folks pull off and camp. Not all together, but 3 or 4 at a campsite. There is a place on the north side of the bridge just off the claim where more than 6 could camp together. I'm planning on visiting the claim and will look for a camp site large enough for 30 or so. Later, Sourdough Joe
Eric,
We will have to make a junior prospecting video with the kid showing how easy it is. I have a highbacker/boomer that my two boys are wanting to use.
No....Thank You!!
I think it is great what you are doing. It is a really good way to generate the much needed funds for our club. Not to mention a fantastic service to the membership by documenting the event in a very special way. Thanks again |
