About Me

I'm Sandy Roe, wife of David Roe "Goldfever Dave".  I'm a California native and thought all the gold was taken by the oldtimers until my hubby and I saw the recent news report about gold being found.  Of course we had to start checking it out!

I had earned the name of "The Lazy Prospector".  I think the picture says it all!  Going to have to change my picture pretty soon though, because I'm not so "Lazy" anymore.  I've been on a weight loss program since May, and to date, have lost over 42 lbs!

During the week, I am a patent paralegal for a medical equipment manufacturing company.  On weekends and holidays I join hubby for the gold prospecting trips.

We've been up to the Klamath River and have visited the Gold Country (along Hiway 49) many times!  We are basic members of GPAA and decided to check out Bear River, not knowing about the outing and we were pleasantly surprised and that's when we joined East Bay Prospectors!  I think we will upgrade our GPAA membership very soon!

I also help my husband with his real estate investing, I do the due diligence part, running title searches and other research.  I also got the coin collecting bug!

Sorry it took me so long to get back My financial situation changed were I dont have to sell any of my coins now. If you want sometime maybe we could bring some of our coins to one of the meetings and maybe we could trade some or something that might be fun.

Hi Sandy, I too am a coin collector. I have been out of work for a month with a rotator cuff injury so moneys kind of tigh. I REALLY want to go on one of the UPIs weeklong trips and am going to sell some of my coins to raise the money. I was wondering if you would be interested in looking at any of them. Thanks Kelley
