Eastbay Gold Prospecting & Treasure Hunting Club

I stop at the club claim to check on the progress of a couple of "early birds" prior to the club outing on Saturday. The gold speaks for itself and there are a couple of happy campers!

Wayne and I search for new areas to prospect in Tuolumne county Ca.

Spent the weekend on the East Branch Feather River on a Cariboo Gold Mining Assoc. claim with Chuck, Tara and the kids and brought home a little shiny stuff. No making fun of my one-handed video making skills.

Wayne and I find a new creek to scratch...with nice results

I spend a little time on the creek showing basic classifying, sluicing,and panning. I also give my reasoning for digging in a particular spot and indicate the types of materials that have a better chance of holding gold.

A trip to a drainage creek on private property netted Ray, Wayne and I some chunky gold and one big suprise
