Wayne, Tom K. and I try a new spot on our favorite creek
A look at the East Bay Prospectors
Wayne and I go to our favorite spot for a few hours of prospecting. The gold is good and we actually have water in the creek bed....(I love rain)
It was a crazy week for Wayne and I. Tom was up from the bay area for a visit and the three of us managed to go out to get some "chunky gold" Then Pucky called to say the Australian Broadcast Corporation wanted to shoot a segment at his claim and we were needed to show American prospectors at work.
This has it all...pathos, humor and lots of gold
Here is a short 5 min clip of the I Bar 2010 outting...entire video is 45 min.. Enjoy.. Eric
A trip to Missouri provides great fun, fascinating locals and leaves me really wishing I had brought along my metal detector
Several trips to prospect within 30 minutes of my home
Tom, Wayne and I make two short crack and crevice hunts at a new spot close to home
Bear River is a very active location for the East Bay Prospectors. I have noticed that some beginners have the same difficulty, and that's how to process their concentrates to recover fine gold. This quick 2 part series demonstrates my Bear River Cleanup method. NOTE: video entails cleanup at home after the sands and gravel have been worked and run thru a sluice box. Eric
